The hair from PalikaHair™ originates from living human beings at its virgin status. Made with natural and real human hair, our 100% Remy virgin hair is recommended for best hair extensions as the cuticles remain intact.

Our lace front wigs are 100% hand-made strand by strand into a Swiss lace, akin to a soft- toned skin. Only pure Remy (cuticle aligned) hair strands are used to make our wigs. Flowing in the same direction, these cuticles keep the hair free from tangling, and virgin Remy hair can be used for making any color from time to time.

We carry virgin (unprocessed/untreated) Remy hair in Natural Black, Natural Brown and Natural Salt and Pepper (gray) shades. Our colored wigs are available in #1, #2, #4, #613, ombré and several dual-tone shades (please refer to our site www.palikahair.com) from 8”-30” in lengths, and we use only natural silky wavy or natural straight hair.

“Remy” or “Full Cuticle Hair” means that the hair has all cuticles healthy and intact and they flow in the same direction from root to tip. Typically, hair is of “Remy” quality when it’s collected directly from a woman's head and cut while held in a ponytail; so none of the hair strands fall to the floor. Only “Remy” quality hair can guarantee that all cuticles will stay aligned and the hair will be tangle-free in its most natural form. Moreover, “Remy” hair lasts for a long time; can be reused multiple times and be colored or flat ironed with heat, just like your own natural hair.

Virgin Remy hair from India is naturally dark in color and its thickness varies from fine to medium. Due to this reason, Indian hair blends seamlessly with both Caucasian and ethnic textures and it’s very versatile too. In its natural form, it comes in light wavy to deep curly textures. However, it can also be flat ironed to sleek straight-look easily. If you are looking for a natural texture with beautiful bounce and fullness, virgin Indian Remy hair is the way to go. Virgin Indian hair can also be color-lifted to blond and lighter tones easily. This is why virgin Remy hair from India is the most sought-after hair by extension lovers.

Fixing:

Though there are several free visuals available to fix our Swiss Lace Front wigs using adhesive tapes, liquid adhesives etc, we advise our clients to consult, seek help or get assistance from an expert Lace Wig Fixer in the initial stage and learn the method a few times. Our wigs are easy to fix and remove like plug-and-play.

Some common tips:

  • Braid hair in cornrows or wrap it around the head with a brush or comb. Braiding or wrapping hair allows it to sit on your head evenly. Cover the hair with a wig cap to avoid aggravation from the wig base causing further breakage to your hair. The wig base can rub against thinner hair strands around your head which can cause hair breakage.
  • Place the wig on your head. Adjust the wig until it comfortably fits your head. Brush the hair with a wig brush to detangle.
  • Stand in front of a mirror with the wig on. Adjust the wig until it fits on your head perfectly.
  • Secure the lace so that it rests flat on the forehead. Make sure the lace base is even with your natural hairline. Place a ruler against the lace in a vertical position. Start from the left side of the lace where the wig hair and lace meet. Place a small dot with a pen at 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch of the lace front. The extra length is left to prevent loss of the hairline if the lace begins to fray and needs to be cut off.
  • Repeat Step 4 until you reach the end of the lace. Connect the dots with a line across the lace front.
  • Take the wig off. Remove loose strands from the lace front. Lay the wig down on the table.
  • Cut the lace with a pair of scissors along the line you created with the dots. Do not leave pen marks on the lace.
  • Use adhesive hair glue to glue the leftover lace onto your head. Cover with make-up if needed.
  • You could also use invisible adhesive tapes instead of liquid adhesives.
Aftercare/Maintenance:
Washing:

PalikaHair™ Swiss Lace Front Wigs are the premium choice if you want versatility and luxury. Human hair is soft to touch and can be styled in endless ways. Due to the high demand of quality human hair, human hair lace front wig is also the most expensive wig you buy. This is why, it is so important to use the right products and follow proper techniques to take care of your human hair wigs. Wigs made with human hair can last a long time; much longer than synthetic wigs. However, using wrong care products and following improper washing techniques can drastically reduce the life expectancy of your wig.

How to wash a human hair lace front wig:
Swiss Lace Front Wig Aftercare
  • Gently remove tangles with a wig brush or comb, working gradually from the ends to the base of the cap.
  • Rinse wig in cool water; keep the water flowing in the same direction of the hair. DO NOT SOAK HAIR IN A BASIN, as this will cause it to tangle. Apply a wig shampoo evenly throughout the hair using your fingertips. Rinse hair with cool water to remove the shampoo. Pat gently with a soft towel to remove excess water. DO NOT WRING OR SQUEEZE.
  • Gently press with a towel to remove excess water. Place on a folding wig-stand and allow it to air-dry.
  • Once dry, style the hair as usual. Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to comb through the hair. Use a curling iron or flat iron to achieve your desired look.
Care Tips You Should Know:
  • Wash your wig every 2 to 3 weeks or every few wearing as needed.
  • To avoid stretching the cap, never place a wet wig on a mannequin or Styrofoam head. A folding wig-stand or tall can of hairspray make the best drying platforms.
  • Never use hot water while washing, as it may loosen the wig construction.
  • Never twist or rub your wig vigorously while washing or drying.
  • Never sleep with your hair lace front wig or swim or take a shower with it.
Caution!

Proper maintenance of the natural human hair lace front wigs is also crucial in the lifespan of the wig.
